The Experience | Cohorts, Gatherings + Events
learning to be loved and to live it out
Being Known | 3 day Virtual Cohort
is a three-day online gathering designed to help you discover a simple, intentional practice for rewiring the brain to receive the love and grace of Jesus on a deeper, more embodied level. This is about slowing down and learning how to experience being seen, known, and met by God.
Each day includes a 45-minute live online session. If you’re unable to attend the live cohort but feel drawn to this work, you’re welcome to book a one-on-one session to explore the practice in a personal and supportive setting.
3 day Unabandoned
Grief often side-swipes people. We don’t know how to show up in our own grief, and the people around us often don’t know how to help. The result is isolation—not because no one cares, but because no one was taught what support is supposed to look like when life falls apart.
This course introduces simple, kind practices that help bridge the gap between feeling alone and feeling supported. You’ll learn how to identify your existing support systems, name what kind of support you actually need, and build a small, intentional support circle that feels safe and sustainable.
Rooted & Rising Widow’s Leadership Retreat | KEnya
A four-day retreat in Western Kenya for widowed leaders who have been holding everything together with no space to fall apart. These women continue to carry families, churches, and communities forward after loss—often without recognition, support, or voice. This retreat creates room to breathe, grieve, pray, learn, and share honestly, while being reminded that God has not forgotten them and their purpose is not over. They are women of value—rooted in truth, rising in strength, and leading with courage shaped by grief and grace.

5 Day Home Detox
The space you live in matters—especially after loss. For widows, home is often the place where grief feels the loudest. It holds memories, unfinished stories, and reminders of what has changed. The environment around you quietly shapes how safe your body feels, how clearly you can think, and how much energy it takes just to get through the day.
This course offers simple, compassionate ways to create a space that supports you rather than overwhelms you. Together, we focus on decluttering, detoxing, and de-stressing your environment—not to erase the past, but to reduce the constant strain on your nervous system. These practices are designed to help widows reclaim their space as a place of rest, clarity, and steadiness, allowing room to breathe, grieve, and begin engaging life again at a gentler pace.
The Widows Project Team Outreach Trip
The Widows Project Team Outreach Trip invites widows to step into the story of other widows—walking together in shared presence, dignity, and care. In partnership with local leaders and the Widows Project, our team journeys alongside widows in Kibera Slum and Western Kenya, entering daily life through home visits, shared meals, prayer, storytelling, and practical support shaped by the voices of the women themselves.
This outreach is rooted in relationship. Widows walking with widows. Listening deeply. Honoring grief, resilience, and faith side by side. As we participate in the ongoing work of the Widows Project, we witness lives marked by loss and strength, leadership formed through endurance, and hope carried quietly but faithfully. Together, we share the sacred work of being present—holding space, restoring dignity, and carrying one another with compassion and trust.
